Customer Requirement

The customer needed a safer and more efficient way to move large cylindrical rolls through the production area.

Standard forks were not suitable for the application, especially when it came to core alignment, load stability, and transfer between production processes.

This solution is designed for battery electrode rolls and can also be used for paper rolls, film rolls, textile rolls, and other cylindrical materials.

SINOLIFT Solution

Based on the customer’s application, we customized an electric stacker with a dedicated roll core support shaft in place of standard forks.

The shaft is designed to enter the roll core directly, providing stable support for lifting, positioning, and transport.

For large rolls with diameters of 900 mm and above, the customized structure helps improve alignment and load stability during handling.

The result is a practical solution for moving rolls safely and efficiently between workstations.

Application

In lithium battery manufacturing, the truck can be used to move electrode rolls between processes such as coating, rolling, slitting, and other production stages.

The same concept can also be adapted for paper rolls, film rolls, fabric rolls, and other non-standard cylindrical loads.

Built Around the Load

This project was more than simply adding an attachment to a standard stacker.

The equipment was configured around the customer’s roll dimensions, core size, and handling process.

We adapt the machine to the load, not the load to the machine.
