The Handling Challenge

The task involved loads weighing up to 500 kg, with diameters ranging from 350 to 800 mm. Alongside lifting capability, the equipment needed to provide continuous rotation in either direction so the operator could bring the load into the required position.

The specified maximum rotation-centre height was 1,700 mm. This dimension refers to the height of the centre around which the clamped load rotates—a useful reference when matching the equipment to a receiving position or workstation.
